René de Bondt joined ITL Attorneys on 1 November 2024. René has over 30 years of experience as a corporate lawyer and attorney at law and has a broad legal profile with a specific focus on international trade and transport law.

With his extensive knowledge and experience, he assists companies in contract negotiations and commercial disputes, reorganisations and acquisitions. René has solid expertise in handling cases involving commercial disputes, road transport, freight forwarding, storage and transhipment, inland shipping and sea and air freight.  

In 2015, René successfully completed the postgraduate course in transport law at the Grotius Academy, which further deepened his knowledge and experience.

With his keen legal insight and pragmatic approach, René is a valued sparring partner for directors and board members. His communication skills, solution-oriented attitude and in-depth legal knowledge make him a reliable and expert advisor.

René is a member of the Dutch Association for Transport Law (NVV) and a board member of ACN, the umbrella organisation for Dutch air cargo.
