Vincent Van der Mast studied law at the KU Leuven and obtained his law degree in 2014. In 2015 Vincent completed an additional master’s degree in Tax Law from the KU Leuven (Cum Laude).
Vincent was admitted to the bar in 2015 and started practicing law as an associate at the TLA law office (Transport &Logistiek Advocaten), a leading and internationally renowned law firm specialized in transport and logistics law. After three years working as an associate at the TLA office, Vincent was promoted in 2018 to partner.
In 2023 Vincent was one of the founding partners of ITL Attorneys.
Throughout the years Vincent has gained experience in all kinds of transport and logistics related cases. He both advises clients and assists clients in disputes and litigations. Vincent provides assistance before courts in Belgium and abroad, in civil disputes as well as in criminal proceedings.
Within the office Vincent is in charge of the commercial relations and disputes. This includes debt collection, assisting clients i ncommercial disputes and litigations, drafting contracts and general conditions for transport companies, logistics service providers and shippers, providing assistance in transport tender processes and enforcing judicial decisions.
Vincent is also the expert for all transport related tax matters. He renders advices and assistance to clients related to various sorts of road taxes and charges, tolls, vignettes, emission charges, motorvehicle taxes, VAT, employment fiscality, as well as tax related fines and criminal charges.
Finally, customs and excises and international trade are other key practices of Vincent within the office. Clients can rely on Vincent for all customs related obligations, import duties and excises, refunds of excise duties on diesel, advices and disputes on INCO-terms, etc.
